I am extremely proud and privileged to be the Headteacher of Astley Primary School, part of Synergy Multi Academy Trust. We are a school passionate about providing every child with the opportunities, skills and experiences to become a lifelong learner.Â
The 'Astley Curriculum Experience' (ACE) is at the heart of what we do; we are all ACE learners. We aim to develop happy, confident and kind individuals who are ready to contribute to and engage with life after Astley.
Our school is a fun, challenging, inspiring, positive and ACE place to be, so please do enjoy exploring our website and what Astley has to offer. Â
Follow us on Instagram @astleyprimary and feel free to come and visit us in action, I am sure you will love Astley as much as we do.Â

I started the week talking all about ‘Empathy’ and how important a skill /
value this is. The children showed great understanding and we also linked it to Safer Internet Day which we
celebrated on Tuesday. All classes got involved and we explored many areas of internet use, including AI and
how we can use this responsibly. Our visitor PC Elliott led an assembly for Key Stage Two and talked all about
safety on devices and what to do if we are worried or unsure. It was a really informative and fun day – thank
you to Mrs Hamilton for organising.

Well done Team Dolphins on a great class assembly this week – so much learning, talent and
confidence on display, we are very proud of you all.

Sharks performed a fantastic class assembly this week – Miss Wreford and the team are so proud of them and the hard work they are putting in across the curriculum. We look forward to seeing our Dolphins in action next Wednesday at 2:45pm.

Well done to our Turtles on their class assembly this week; it was great to see everything they have been learning and it was delivered with such confidence. We look forward to seeing our Sharks in action next Wednesday at 2:45pm. Thank you to the Sharks parents who attended the Maths meeting - it is great to have the opportunity to work together in the best interests of the children.
